Survey Technician

They are seeking a Survey Technician to support various survey deliverables, including boundary and topographic surveys, while utilizing advanced technologies such as UAV and Mobile LiDAR.

Transportation

Responsibilities

Produce survey deliverables using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D for engineering design, topographic, boundary, ALTA/NSPS, and easement surveys

Process and quality-check field data using Trimble Business Center

Collaborate closely with survey crew members, project teams, and office staff to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery

Work with the Survey Team Leader to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency

Create and edit surface models that accurately represent field conditions

Interpret record documents and convert them into accurate CAD representations

Required

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D

Ability to interpret survey records, legal descriptions, and field data

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred

Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred

Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer strongly preferred

Field experience preferred
