Service Technician

Responsibilities
Responds to and services Burg /CCTV and small access service calls, as requested by the Service Manager or his/her designate
Apply solutions to system problems by either troubleshooting the system or advising the customer how to resolve the problem
Solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision
Provides status on service calls to management and recommends actions
Communicates with the customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Continuous proactive customer interactions including an in-depth understanding of customer (s) needs, wants and systems currently in place
Perform self-study (reading, research, and practice) to obtain technical proficiency on required products and applications
Reports complete and accurate information on the service tickets
Work independently and seek guidance when necessary
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent, plus two (2) years of technical school, electronics training or equivalent military training
Security clearance
Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
Preferred
Certifications in specific panel types for Burg and CCTV and Access
