Responsibilities
Serve as the primary CAD/BIM technical consultant for Civil 3D and Revit across all projects
Develop, implement, and maintain CAD and BIM standards, templates, styles, and workflows
Manage and optimize Civil 3D objects, surfaces, corridors, pipe networks, data shortcuts, and styles
Oversee Revit model setup, families, worksets, shared coordinates, and model coordination
Support project teams with troubleshooting, file management, and performance optimization
Lead training and mentoring efforts for CAD designers, engineers, and BIM users
Coordinate software updates, version control, and Autodesk licensing in collaboration with IT
Develop automation tools (e.g., scripts, templates, Dynamo, or LISP where applicable) to improve efficiency
Stay current on Autodesk releases, industry best practices, and emerging BIM/CAD technologies
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in a CAD Manager or Senior CAD/BIM leadership role
Expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D and Autodesk Revit
Strong understanding of civil engineering, land development, or infrastructure design workflows
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to support and train technical and non-technical users
Preferred
Autodesk certifications (Civil 3D, Revit, or Autodesk Professional)
Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud
Knowledge of Dynamo, AutoLISP, or scripting/automation tools
Experience working in a multi-discipline environment (civil, structural, architectural)
