Responsibilities
Manage and motivate our Houston-based survey staff, coordinating field parties and office production to ensure elite project delivery and a positive team culture
Act as the primary technical contact for key regional stakeholders, including TxDOT, and leverage your expertise to cultivate the long-term client partnerships that drive our growth in Southeast Texas
Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and QA/QC for a diverse portfolio of land survey projects, from topographic and boundary surveys to complex roadway databases and construction staking
Qualification
Required
Current Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) is required
10+ years in land surveying, with at least 5 years in a management/leadership capacity
Advanced use of MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Geopak, Carlson Survey, and C&G
Expertise in preparing proposals, cost estimates, plats, legal descriptions, and TxDOT right-of-way maps
Proven ability to manage several projects simultaneously, including scheduling, staffing, and budget negotiation
Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
Strong preference for candidates with TxDOT experience and a passion for marketing surveying and engineering services
