Payroll Representative

The Payroll Representative plays a key role in supporting payroll operations, serving as the primary point of contact for Home Health Aides and assisting with various payroll-related inquiries and processes.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for Home Health Aides regarding basic payroll-related questions, including pay rates, deductions, timesheets, and payroll schedules
Respond to inbound phone calls and inquiries in a professional, courteous, and timely manner
Help with processing paid time off requests for home health aides in support of their supervisors
Assist with the processing and administration of LHCSA payroll garnishments, including documentation, tracking, and compliance
Help the payroll team process payroll for field and office staff across the home health agency
Support payroll operations across both LHCSA and CHHA departments, with cross-training to ensure coverage and continuity
Collaborate with Payroll, HR, and Operations teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and escalate issues as needed
Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records in compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements
Assist with payroll audits, reporting, and administrative tasks as assigned
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor and payroll regulations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree; major in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or Finance
Bilingual ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English and Spanish
Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll, customer service, or administrative support
Strong customer service and communication skills, especially when supporting a large aide population
High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Proficiency in payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced setting
Preferred
Home health care experience
Experience with LHCSA and CHHA environments
