Responsibilities
Lead quarterly and annual GAAP and Statutory tax provision processes
Review U.S. federal, state, and local income tax returns and estimates for multiple entities
Manage external advisors and tax audits
Ensure accuracy of tax accounting and compliance through technology and automation
Support tax forecasting, planning, and special projects
Partner cross-functionally to resolve tax issues and meet business goals
Monitor regulatory developments and implement tax strategies
Drive process automation and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
7+ years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax
Strong knowledge of ASC 740
3+ years of people or project leadership experience
Preferred
CPA and/or Master's in Taxation
Experience with Statutory Accounting principles (e.g., SSAP 101)
Knowledge of insurance or regulated industry tax issues
Experience with tax provision software and large datasets
Multistate and nexus experience
