Responsibilities
Facilitate project status communication to ensure timely updates blockers and resource needs
Assist in the organization and facilitation of sprints
Work across the portfolio to promote agile growth and agile best practices
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture IT Product Specialists internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure alignment on strategy and execution of Roadmap and Vision
Communicating status of all projects to stakeholders and management
Plan and orchestrate all activities related to Planning events
Takes responsibility for managing dependencies between the Scrum teams and third parties release managers or between the Scrum teams
Ensure successful delivery of large impact and/or cross-functional product initiatives
Facilitates discussions that lead to the resolution of project issues and development impediments
Reports project progress to Program Management and executive level stakeholders
Developing and Maintaining up-to-date detailed project schedules and work plans
Clearly defining and communicating roles responsibilities and expectations for all members of the project team
Monitoring critical project milestones and identifying ways to resolve schedule issues
Gathering defining and documenting project requirements
Independently planning all associated work to meet project goals
Obtaining and defining staffing requirements and forming project teams
May act as a team lead and/or coach to developing employees
Ensuring all project team members have the tools and training necessary to perform effectively
Resolving problems of project specific scope within procedural guidelines
Exercising independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance with moderate scope and complexity
Assessing project performance and implementing changes as necessary to ensure the projects remains within specified cost schedule scope and quality objectives
Recording tracking and communicating issues risks changes and status reports within a PGE standard tool
Preparing all project documentation for closure storage and possible auditing activities ensuring technical accuracy
Qualification
Required
Demonstrates advanced knowledge and technical competence
Demonstrates independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance with broad scope and high complexity
BA/BS in Computer Science Business Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience leading Agile or Hybrid projects
Experience managing one or more moderately and highly complex IT product / software development cycles / projects
Experience working on NERC projects
Experience leading one or more projects
Experience with IT professional service agreements
Working knowledge and understanding of Agile Software Development Methodology and incremental delivery
Certified Scrum Master
Preferred
Understanding of business and IT strategies and objectives
Experience working in a PMO environment as Project Lead or Project Manager for medium to complex projects
Experience managing monitoring tools projects
Advanced degree in Computer Science Business or equivalent
