Veterinarian Partners is a newer full-service veterinary hospital in Maple Grove, MN, seeking an experienced Practice Manager to enhance operational efficiency and team engagement. The role involves overseeing financial health, managing staff, and ensuring a high-quality client experience while maintaining compliance with hospital standards.

Responsibilities

Own the financial health and profitability of the hospital
Manage budgets, payroll, scheduling, and labor efficiency
Monitor and actively manage KPIs including revenue, expenses, COGS, and staffing ratios
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce waste, and increase efficiency
Maintain strong inventory controls and vendor relationships
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing hospital team
Set clear expectations and hold staff accountable to standards and results
Partner with the Medical Director on staffing levels, performance management, and corrective action when needed
Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews
Ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience that supports retention and growth
Address client concerns professionally while balancing service recovery with business realities
Support systems and workflows that improve client flow, compliance, and revenue capture
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate records and support audits or inspections

Required

3+ years of veterinary management experience
Demonstrated success improving financial performance and operational efficiency
Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, influence, and hold accountability
Comfortable using data and metrics to drive decisions
Ability to lead through growth, change, and refinement in a newer hospital

Preferred

Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) or Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) is preferred but not required
May consider an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
