Responsibilities
Observes and performs a wide range of typical on-the-job duties within the Accounting Department
Observes and performs various technical, line or staff functions
Monitors personal performance progress with key personnel and accounting professionals
The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the accounting department and help the company be aware of its financial condition
Demonstrated ability to complete work in a timely and accurate manner
The ability to always maintain confidentiality while displaying a professional disposition
Assist with the reviewing of expenses, payroll records, etc. as assigned
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and timely
Ability to work utilizing professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Assist with other accounting projects
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be a shareholder of NANA Regional Corporation, Inc., or a direct descendant of a shareholder
Must be 18 years or older
Must be currently enrolled in college or a vocational school full-time and have completed one semester of postsecondary education
Must be tech-savvy and be able to operate proficiently on a computer
Must have intermediate skills with Excel and Outlook
Must be organized and able to communicate effectively and professionally; this includes friendly customer service to all internal customers
Demonstrated ability to complete work in a timely and accurate manner
The ability to always maintain confidentiality while displaying a professional disposition
Benefits
