Responsibilities

Provide scientific and regulatory oversight to the laboratory
Work closely with the professional staff in the Division of Infectious Diseases of the Department of Internal Medicine, the Pharmacy, and the Infection Control personnel
Provide additional oversight for the Molecular Pathology section or other selected clinical laboratory sections pending additional qualifications, expertise and interest
Contribute to the active teaching program of residents in clinical pathology with emphasis on Microbiology, Molecular Pathology, and related areas as applicable

MD, DO, MD/PhD, or a PhD
