Interactive e-Services Analyst
The California Franchise Tax Board is seeking an Interactive e-Services Analyst to serve as a Technical Business Analyst for various web applications, including MyFTB. The role involves evaluating business needs, developing business requirements, and ensuring quality assurance for web applications, while delivering excellent customer experiences.

Responsibilities
Evaluate FTB's business needs, external customers’ needs, and the department’s technical capabilities
Facilitate the maintenance and enhancement of web applications and MyFTB
Understand the interaction of web applications and MyFTB with other IT systems
Serve as a subject matter expert to business opportunities with an emphasis on delivering excellent customer experiences
Conduct analysis, write detailed business requirements (and occasional system requirements), and present recommendations to enterprise-wide teams
Perform final client acceptance and quality assurance (QA) testing before changes to web applications and MyFTB are released to the public
Work with staff of all levels and technical abilities enterprise-wide and must be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of FTB's business areas and technology environment
Knowledge of Internal Taxpayer Folder and MyFTB
Familiarity with supporting web applications
Ability to analyze data and situations, and think logically and creatively in order to develop plans, solve problems, make recommendations, and support business functions
Ability to manage workloads and work effectively with business and technical staff
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to maintain effectiveness and provide leadership with changing priorities/workloads
Knowledge of FTB's existing web applications
Knowledge of FTB's electronic payment processing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills to resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently
Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to plan and coordinate tasks to ensure project deadlines are met
Strong interpersonal, problem solving, analytical, planning, collaboration, and negotiation skills
Ability to build and sustain cooperative working cross-departmental relationships
Familiarity with analyzing legislation and other guidelines to determine potential impacts to web applications
Familiarity with FTB's System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Enterprise Intake process, and Team Foundation Server (TFS)
