Responsibilities
Develop, configure, and validate calculation formulas within Thermo SampleManager LIMS
Independently interpret laboratory test methods and procedures to build accurate calculation logic
Compile and maintain custom calculation fields in SampleManager used to generate laboratory results
Validate calculations in accordance with laboratory quality and validation requirements
Draft and maintain documentation and guidelines for laboratories on calculation usage and result reporting
Support global laboratory teams across multiple sites with LIMS-related calculation and quality system projects
Provide secondary support for Chromatographic Data Systems (CDS) such as Empower or Chromeleon
Collaborate with Quality Systems support teams to ensure compliance with laboratory quality applications
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience developing AND validating calculation formulas in Thermo SampleManager LIMS
Ability to independently create calculation formulas by following laboratory test methods or procedures
Experience validating calculations within a laboratory quality system environment
Chromatography laboratory background with exposure to analytical test methods
Experience supporting laboratory quality systems and lab administration processes
