Responsibilities
Participate in technical design of features with guidance
Write correct and clean code following our stated best practices
Review pull requests within your areas of knowledge, providing constructive feedback
Understand how your work fits into larger projects and identify problems with requirements
Possess empathy for the end user and use that insight to guide your decision-making
Serve as a resource for others on the team
Qualification
Required
4+ years of UniData development experience - You have a proven track record building and maintaining applications in UniData and can work independently in at least one large area of a codebase
Exceptional learning ability - You quickly grasp new codebases, technologies, and business domains, consistently following best practices and knowing when to ask for help to get unblocked
Strong troubleshooting skills - You can effectively debug problems and work through technical challenges to find solutions
Career-oriented mindset - You're looking for long-term growth and are eager to find ways to improve through soliciting feedback and demonstrating a growth mindset
Strong communication skills - You proactively communicate assumptions, get clarification on tasks up front to minimize rework, and effectively collaborate across teams when necessary
Ability to prioritize and deliver - You complete assigned tasks in a reasonable amount of time, can prioritize multiple concurrent tasks, and avoid getting caught up in unimportant details
Preferred
Experience developing software for retailers
Experience with or knowledge of the furniture industry
