Engage in tasks such as digitizing existing public access locations in coastal municipalities
Georeferencing and digitizing dredging projects
Mapping permitted nature-based solutions projects
Quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) of XY coordinate locations
Conduct site visits
Qualification
Required
Candidates should be detail oriented and organized
Seeking individuals enrolled at an accredited university/college studying one of the Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences/Studies, Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or in Environmental Planning, Environmental Policy, or Physical Geography
Seeking individuals enrolled at an accredited university/college in Civil Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Bio-resource Engineering
Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position
Selected candidates must be authorized to work in the United States per the Department of Homeland Security, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations
Preferred
Candidates should have some knowledge of ESRI products such as ArcPro and ArcGIS Online
Completion of GIS courses being a plus
Familiarity with data management software, such as Microsoft Excel
