SLED Sales Director, Google Public Sector
PreSales Collective is seeking a SLED Sales Director for Google Public Sector, responsible for defining and executing the overall strategy and business success within the country. This role involves leading the country sales organization, building consultative selling skills, and advocating for Google Cloud solutions to meet the unique challenges of public sector clients.

Develop and execute a country-wide strategy and sales plan to meet business objectives, identify revenue growth potential, and anticipate complex challenges and opportunities. Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of Google Cloud products and services in the region
Ensure that country business goals, quotas, and sales operational performance targets are achieved
Identify, build, and own complex, strategic relationships with highly influential C-suite clients and external stakeholders, including government authorities and policymakers
Cultivate a strategic ecosystem of partners, leveraging their capabilities to create comprehensive, end-to-end customer solutions
Lead global transformations, performance management, leader development, and enablement at the country-level, advancing technical proficiency, data and AI fluency, and consultative selling, and unlocking performance through every stage of the business cycle
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
15 years of experience leading cloud or software sales organizations (e.g., driving strategies and sales performance to achieve revenue targets and profitability)
10 years of experience offering products to State, Local, and Education (SLED) clients
Preferred
Experience driving forward-thinking and innovative approaches to solve complex business problems where precedents may not exist
Experience leading external conversations about the future of cloud, data, and AI technologies, including current technology trends, Google Cloud differentiators, and how they can apply to customers' strategic business opportunities and challenges
Experience with C-level customer relationships and connectivity in relevant markets
Experience with business and financial accountability (e.g., P&L management, forecasting)
Experience overseeing highly matrixed, cross-functional teams, mobilizing people and integrating work streams toward shared objectives and a compelling, long-term vision
