Business Data Analyst

Responsibilities

Review and validate ERP transactions to ensure accuracy and alignment with production schedules and inventory balances
Review production data and quality checks in the manufacturing system to verify accuracy and compliance with schedules and policies
Analyze inventory data to identify variances, recurring errors, and trends affecting data integrity
Perform data corrections and reconciliations in the ERP system with proper documentation and internal controls
Maintain reports tracking data accuracy, transaction quality, and key performance metrics
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including manufacturing leaders, training, and quality—to resolve data issues and reduce process‑related errors
Support process improvement initiatives to streamline transactions and improve data flow
Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve data integrity issues related to items, BOMs, routings, and locations
Provide system training and documentation to promote accurate transactions and standardized practices
Lead or support root‑cause analysis using tools like 5‑Whys or Pareto charts to address recurring data issues
Collaborate with IT and Systems teams to test and validate ERP configurations or process changes
Ensure regular and reliable full‑time attendance
Demonstrate professional behavior with internal and external business partners, reflecting positively on the company and aligning with company policies and practices
Embody OFD’s cultural values and align daily actions with the department and company culture

Required

Generally, a minimum of Two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field with bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or materials management
Hands-on experience with ERP system (e.g., Infor, SAP, Oracle, Epicor, NetSuite, or similar)
Hands-on experience with manufacturing analytics systems (e.g. Redzone, FactoryTalk, Domo)
Proven experience in inventory control, materials planning, data analysis, or process improvement
Strong understanding of MRP system (e.g., Infor, SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar) and inventory control principles within a manufacturing environment
High attention to detail and data accuracy, with the ability to identify, analyze, and correct transactional or system discrepancies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with planning, production, purchasing, and warehouse teams
Analytical and problem-solving mindset, capable of conducting root cause analysis and driving sustainable process improvements
Demonstrates clear, concise verbal and written communication skills to convey information, insights, and recommendations

Preferred

Experience with data reconciliation, root cause analysis, and cross-department collaboration preferred
Familiarity with cGMP, ISO, or other regulated manufacturing environments a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis and reporting); experience with data visualization or reporting tools preferred
Knowledge of cGMP, ISO, or similar quality and documentation standards (preferred, depending on industry)
