Operations Analyst (Starshield)

Responsibilities

Own overarching coordination related to logistics, administrative functions for ongoing and in-development Starshield programs and customer-facing activities
Provide project management and maintain momentum on high-priority projects, including but not limited to staffing and resource planning, onboarding new department members, space planning, and strategy development for efficiencies among teams
Perform confidential and complex administrative duties to include preparing presentation materials, composing correspondence, and creating/updating spreadsheets
Coordinate meetings, manage schedules, make appointments, arrange travel, screen and delegate incoming calls, and provide other general assistance as required
Exhibit a strong attention to detail, ability to adapt to daily schedules and routines, and a focus on efficiency without sacrificing quality
Identify operational challenges within the organization, determine root cause, and develop creative and effective solutions
Capture best practices of production systems, and manage organizational knowledge and lessons-learned
Develop tools and reports to analyze delivery, capacity, cost problems for operations to guide decision-making

Required

Bachelor's degree
1+ years of professional experience in manufacturing or project management
This position is based in Hawthorne, CA and requires being onsite full-time – hybrid and remote work will not be considered
Must be willing to travel to other company sites, vendors, and customers as necessary, up to 25% travel
Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed
This position requires successfully obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret Security Clearance as a condition of employment

Preferred

Initiative in resolving problems and an independent worker, with enthusiasm and an energetic approach to work
Experience working with the US Military and Intelligence Communities
Experience supporting leaders in a fast paced, start-up environment
Strong computer literacy, expertise with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools
Superior organizational skills including excellent written and verbal communication
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously
Experience leading multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams working on strategic problems
Strong track record of implementing continuous improvement efforts, ideally using problem solving frameworks including lean principles, six sigma, or Kaizen concepts
Active Top Secret or Top Secret / SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
