Responsibilities
Lead and execute the central accounting period-end close for corporate and shared service units, with full ownership of P&L and balance sheet accuracy
Oversee close and reporting activities across ERP, consolidation, close management, and reporting systems, providing support to related business units as needed
Coordinate closely with shared services and corporate accounting teams, including general accounting and intercompany teams, to manage complex intercompany cross-charges, allocations, and cash sweeps
Ensure completeness, review, approval, and posting of manual journal entries, with a focus on significant accruals such as compensation, benefits, taxes, and pension-related items, partnering with internal stakeholders as required
Lead royalty and intellectual property–related accounting processes, ensuring accurate execution and compliance at both central and local entity levels
Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations within close management tools, ensuring timely, complete, and audit-ready submissions
Own and maintain a strong internal control environment, including responsibility for annual internal control assessments and compliance requirements
Review and approve payment requests (check, ACH, wire), ensuring proper authorization, documentation, and coordination with processing teams
Serve as a subject matter expert and accounting lead for enterprise-wide accounting, reporting, and digital finance initiatives, representing the central unit in cross-functional projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
Minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Experience with SAP ECC and Onestream
