Responsibilities

Provide testing and validation oversight of AWS data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure
Review design documents and equipment submittals
Lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT)
Manage third-party commissioning vendors in the performance of onsite pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems testing
Own projects’ successes by resolving technical issues and addressing schedule impacts
Share lessons learned leading towards team growth and program improvements
Provide multi-discipline input into scheduling, test script development, designing, and planning of projects
Continuously audit Cx vendors’ activities to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements
Report commissioning progress and metrics of assigned project to the Regional Commissioning Manager
Lead several projects simultaneously to achieve key milestones and deliver data center capacity, while managing project budget

Required

3+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or 3+ years of relevant discipline work experience
1+ years of field level project support/execution

Preferred

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and MS Project) at an advanced level
Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
Experience understanding electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations including systems such as feeders, transformers, generators, switch gear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, chillers, pumps, or air handling units
Experience reading and editing construction documents (design drawings, control diagrams, specifications, etc.)
Experience developing and executing test procedures for mechanical or electrical systems/components based on design intent and approved equipment submittals
