SIFMA is the leading trade association for broker-dealers, investment banks and asset managers operating in the U.S. and global capital markets. They are seeking a Summer Intern to gain hands-on experience working on substantive projects while collaborating with industry experts.

Responsibilities

Throughout the nine-week program, each intern will be assigned specific projects, to be completed by the program’s end and for which they will receive authorship credits

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree; Finance or Public Policy coursework highly desirable
Demonstration of excellent clerical, organizational, time management and written and verbal communication skills
Technical skills including a full working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with database use and functionality
Ability to prioritize tasks/workload
Demonstrates professional demeanor
Commitment to provide superior customer service with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients
Shows work effectiveness, persistency and commitment
