Responsibilities

Lead commissioning and retro-commissioning activities across multiple projects
Develop and maintain the Commissioning Plan throughout project phases
Conduct design reviews and prepare detailed review reports with recommendations
Review contractor submittals for commissioning requirements
Perform on-site system testing, verification, and documentation
Witness and record HVAC, equipment, and system functional tests
Compile final Commissioning Record including reports, issue logs, and test forms
Conduct owner training on system operations and maintenance
Support multiple commissioning projects and assist commissioning agents

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field required
Four or more years of experience in commissioning, retro-commissioning, or building systems design
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, electrical systems, and building operational performance
Demonstrated ability to conduct field testing, functional performance testing, and system diagnostics
Experience developing commissioning plans, reviewing design documents, and evaluating technical submittals
Ability to manage multiple commissioning projects concurrently with minimal supervision
Strong written communication skills, including preparing commissioning reports, issue logs, and documentation
Ability to lead owner training and communicate complex system operations in a clear and accessible manner

Preferred

Professional accreditation preferred (CxA, BCxP, CPMP, or similar); PE or EIT beneficial but not required
