Responsibilities
Contribute to special projects in support of accounting initiatives
Support the accounting department leadership with administrative duties, such as reports and documentation
Distribute incoming mail, including truck mail from Estes Express and/or our stations throughout the country for the Accounting department
Perform various administrative duties in support of the Accounting department, such as remittance contact for check/ACH payments, phone support
Log and/or file expense report copies that have been sent to corporate accounting for processing
Prepare weekly checks for mailing
Print, scan, and send invoices for Accounts Payable and Discrepancy Team as needed
Copy approved expense reports
Restock supply cabinet
Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures
Regular attendance is required
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Outstanding interpersonal and skills which are essential for interacting with all levels of an organization
Must be flexible, aptitude for critical thinking, act, and prioritize in a pressured, fast pace environment
Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications required
Dependability in terms of attendance, meeting deadlines and punctuality
An ingrained concern for the customer and representing our Company in the best professional manner possible

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check
Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience
A rising junior or senior in a 4-year college degree program (Business and/or Logistics preferred)
A history of achievement and aptitude demonstrated by a 3.0 GPA, and/or other recognition such as scholarships, awards, and honor societies
