Intern, Finance and Accounting

Responsibilities

Contribute to special projects in support of accounting initiatives
Support the accounting department leadership with administrative duties, such as reports and documentation
Distribute incoming mail, including truck mail from Estes Express and/or our stations throughout the country for the Accounting department
Perform various administrative duties in support of the Accounting department, such as remittance contact for check/ACH payments, phone support
Log and/or file expense report copies that have been sent to corporate accounting for processing
Prepare weekly checks for mailing
Print, scan, and send invoices for Accounts Payable and Discrepancy Team as needed
Copy approved expense reports
Restock supply cabinet
Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures
Regular attendance is required
Perform other duties as assigned

Must be eligible to work in the United States
At this time, EFW will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check
Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience
A rising junior or senior in a 4-year college degree program (Business and/or Logistics preferred)
A history of achievement and aptitude demonstrated by a 3.0 GPA, and/or other recognition such as scholarships, awards, and honor societies
