Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Prepare and execute weekly vendor payments
Assist with various accounting tasks and act as a backup for other accounting functions
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounts payable activities
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
Support process improvements and contribute to team efficiency initiatives
May remain in stationary position for extended periods
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Accounting OR High school diploma and two or more years of applicable experience
2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a professional services or service-based industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Products (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, OneDrive, SharePoint etc)
Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment
Preferred
Experience in job cost accounting preferred
Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat (editing and combining PDFs)
Experience with ERP systems (Deltek Vantagepoint preferred)
