Manager, Investments
Regency Centers is a vertically integrated real estate company that owns and operates premier shopping centers across the country. They are seeking a Manager of Investments (Development) to support the development process, including deal sourcing, acquisition, and project management, while collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities
Support the Investments Team in all aspects of their daily job responsibilities, including identifying potential acquisition and development opportunities and conducting outreach to prospects through research, cold-calling, attending networking events, etc
Assist with the development and redevelopment of shopping centers by supporting the managing the day-to-day development process
Work with internal teams and manage external resources throughout the project planning process
Define the entitlement path and interface with governmental agencies to obtain approvals
Provide analytical support in market evaluations, anchor tenant evaluations, land use and cost estimating
Assist operations department with projects that require development expertise
Develop and maintain industry relationships (e.g., with tenants, brokers, joint venture partners, etc.)
Other special projects as necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, Planning, or related discipline from an accredited institution
At least three (3) years of related work experience in commercial real estate to include leasing or brokerage work
Extensive local market knowledge and local business network contacts
Development, construction, leasing, due diligence, and underwriting and/or financial modeling experience
Knowledge of development fundamentals; including the process, underwriting, design, entitlement, construction, and project management
Intermediate proficiency using a personal computer and with MS Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Intermediate spreadsheet and financial analysis skills
Ability to travel within the region
Preferred
Master's Degree in Real Estate Development, MBA with Finance and real estate courses, or related field
Membership in and actively attends local events with industry organizations (e.g., ICSC, ULI)
Strong knowledge of commercial real estate and retail industries
Intermediate proficiency using Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam
