Assistant Director of Human Resources
SkyBridge Luxury & Associates is a resort property seeking an Assistant Director of Human Resources to support the Director of Human Resources in overseeing all HR functions. This role is vital in recruitment, employee relations, training, compliance, and performance management, partnering closely with resort leadership to ensure a strong service-driven culture.
Responsibilities
Support all human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HRIS management
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies
Assist with investigations, corrective action, and employee relations matters
Support audits, inspections, and brand or ownership reporting requirements
Partner with department heads to recruit, hire, and retain top hospitality talent
Support seasonal, high-volume, and leadership recruiting efforts common to resort operations
Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and training programs
Assist with succession planning and leadership development initiatives
Promote a positive, inclusive, and service-focused workplace culture
Support team member recognition, engagement programs, and retention initiatives
Act as a trusted resource for team members and leaders
Assist with conflict resolution and coaching
Coordinate training programs including compliance, brand standards, and service culture
Support performance review processes and corrective action procedures
Track training completion and maintain accurate personnel records
Serve as a liaison between management and team members
Partner with Operations, Finance, and department leaders to align HR initiatives
Step in for the Director of HR as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Hospitality Management, or related field
3–5+ years of progressive HR experience in resort or full-service hotel environments
Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Experience handling employee relations and compliance matters
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
Preferred
Luxury or destination resort experience
Multi-department hospitality HR support
Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, and learning management platforms
PHR or SHRM-CP certification
