Responsibilities
Building and maintaining customer experiences using Typescript, React and Next.js
Designing, styling and testing with Tailwind, Storybook and Vitest
Contributing to API design and integration patterns across services
Deploying and supporting systems in production as part of an on-call rotation
Following healthy engineering practices, including code review, iterative delivery, automated testing, and continuous deployment
Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless customer experiences
Working closely with user experience designers in promoting accessibility best practices, design languages and brand recognition efforts
Leveraging AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps tooling to ensure reliability and performance
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience delivering meaningful software projects to production
Experience with delivering high-quality customer experiences on large consumer-facing websites, including a deep understanding of front-end technology stacks and how to use them to produce performant, satisfying, well-crafted user experiences
An understanding of modern software engineering practices, including logging, monitoring, continuous deployment, and automated testing
Proficiency with React and/or Next.js
You're inquisitive, ready to engage in vibrant debate, make difficult decisions quickly, and learn continuously
Interest in using AI tools as part of your developer workflow
Preferred
Expertise with SEO, site performance, and tools like PageSpeed Insights and Lighthouse
Familiarity with financial services, fintech, real estate, or home lending technology systems
Experience with AWS and cloud-based deployment and operational contexts
