They are seeking a Customs Entry Writer who will be responsible for filing entries with US Customs and interacting with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and smooth processing of imports.

Responsibilities
Clearing goods through customs, working with other government agencies such as FDA, USDA etc
Classifying goods according to tariff coding system
Preparing and processing import documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures
Arrange for payment of taxes and duties on shipments
Bill customers
Sign documents on behalf of clients, using powers of attorney
Monitor or trace the location of goods
Assist clients in obtaining bonds and other necessary documentation
Arrange for transportation or warehousing of imported products
Qualification
Required
1 plus years of experience in processing Customs entries in ACE
Understanding of PGA requirements
Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven understanding of the Customs entry process requirements and flow
Customer focused can-do attitude
Ability to follow standard operating procedures specific to a client
