Responsibilities
Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting requirements
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, hangar and shop areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards
Control entry and exit at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, authorizations, and vehicle information, and maintaining required logs
Complete detailed security-related documentation, including patrol activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate observations to site leadership as needed
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located
Have 1+ year of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
