Responsibilities
Performs basic legal research from standard sources utilizing basic fact-finding, analysis, and problem-solving skills
Coordinates with U.S. Attorneys Offices to obtain representation on litigation cases and supports assigned U.S. Attorneys and Exchange counsel on case resolution
Creates initial drafts of routine legal documents and obtains supporting documentation
Uses initiative to carry out recurring tasks
Provides general litigation support in responding to interrogatories, requests for admission/production
Coordinates litigation holds
Provides administrative support such as coordination of appointment calendars, witness interviews, meetings, and other tasks related to litigation
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS - Required
TYPING 40 WPM - Required
Three years of experience as a paralegal in a law office or three years transferable corporate experience related to bankruptcy and/or credit reporting within the last five years
Or Bachelor's degree and one year of experience as a paralegal in a law office or one year of transferable corporate experience related to bankruptcy and/or credit reporting within the last 5 years
