Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential apartment community
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, common areas, amenities, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations
Respond to resident, guest, and staff concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from on-site management and/or public services when needed
Monitor access points and community activity during patrols, assist with resident and visitor directions, and help support compliance with posted rules and community guidelines
Document patrol activity and incidents in written and/or electronic reports, complete required logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
