Responsibilities
Duties include editing video for newscasts and writing for our TV newscasts and digital platforms, including wsaw.com and our social media platforms
Successful interns have also learned how to produce newscasts and report as an MMJ
Qualification
Required
Available to work at least three shifts per week, up to 28 hours total, including nights and weekends
Be currently enrolled in a college/university (preferred Junior/Senior)
Earning a degree in Journalism/Communications, Sales, Marketing, Sports, News, or related fields, with a desire to get hands-on experience in the local media industry
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Motor Vehicle Records check required
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of gear
Must have a desire to win, a positive attitude, and the ability to reflect on your work and apply feedback
