Responsibilities
Develop complex statistical analyses to identify patterns and trends in Medicare claims data
Build and maintain database programs for standard and ad hoc reporting
Perform data extraction, validation, and quality checks to support monthly reporting cycles
Create clear charts, graphics, dashboards, and narrative reports for internal and external stakeholders
Design and execute complex sampling methodologies
Partner with customers and vendors to deliver accurate, relevant analytical insights
Contribute to documentation, testing plans, and system lifecycle support
Support the transition from SAS/SQL-based reporting to Python-based analytics
Qualification
Required
Experience in statistical programming or statistical analysis
Strong skills in statistical reporting and mathematical computation
Experience with SAS and/or Python, plus SQL
Ability to translate complex data findings for non-technical audiences
Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred
Experience converting SAS programs to Python
Experience with Databricks or data visualization/dashboarding tools
Statistical software and relational database experience
Experience working with Medicare, CMS, or government data
