Responsibilities

Actively contribute to the development of novel bioanalytical methods, including the pioneering of novel techniques for quantification of oligonucleotides across various biological matrices such as plasma, CSF, and tissue
Work on research projects with training and guidance from mentors and experienced co-workers
Manage projects, from the initial evaluation of new technologies to solve complex bioanalytical challenges to the writing and reviewing of study protocols and bioanalytical reports
Engage with the broader scientific community by publishing research and presenting findings at external scientific meetings

Required

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS is required
Capable of performing bioanalysis and solving bioanalytical technical problems
Familiar with bioanalytical method validation regulatory guidance and GLP regulations
Understanding of pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism principles
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, as well as in a team setting
Legal authorization to work in the U.S
At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university or skills program/apprenticeship
Degree level(s): Currently pursuing a Ph.D. or graduate program

Preferred

Experience with oligonucleotides is preferred
Experience with other modalities such as small molecules and proteins is a plus
Preferred majors/programs: Analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or related fields
