Responsibilities
Create different sizes of boxes to have ready for the workload of the day
As jobs are being moved from the cutting table, ensure quality and look for any imperfections such as color or alignment issues
Count the specific product to make sure the box contains enough of what the order requires
Ensure that the packed box is properly sealed to take to the shipping area
Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and are free of any safety hazards
Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs
Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned
Must be a team player who is reliable, eager to learn, and rotate through the various stations throughout the department
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Ability to use small hand tools
Basic computer knowledge
Good problem-solving and organizational skills
Attention to detail
Must be able to read, write, speak & understand English
Effective communication with management and co-workers
Recognize safety issues and corrective actions
