Responsibilities

Answering claim calls and questions from clients, leadership, and office staff
Entering documentation including, but not limited to, claim notes, estimates, photos, and correspondence into claims management system
Coordinating/processing outgoing mail for the 3 rd party claims team
Managing rental reservation and rental process within specific claims in accordance with client parameters and customer needs
Securing documentation on repairs and actively manage the repair process for clients and customers
Coordinating and balancing workload within a defined sub-team
Effectively communicating with clients, peers and leadership through written, verbal and in-person means
Other additional duties and responsibilities as requested by Claims Supervisor and/or Claims Manager

Required

Ability to answer claim calls and questions from clients, leadership, and office staff
Ability to enter documentation including, but not limited to, claim notes, estimates, photos, and correspondence into claims management system
Ability to coordinate/processing outgoing mail for the 3rd party claims team
Ability to manage rental reservation and rental process within specific claims in accordance with client parameters and customer needs
Ability to secure documentation on repairs and actively manage the repair process for clients and customers
Ability to coordinate and balance workload within a defined sub-team
Ability to effectively communicate with clients, peers and leadership through written, verbal and in-person means
Ability to obtain and maintain insurance/adjuster licensing as required in all states

Preferred

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or a minimum two to four years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior automotive, fleet management, claims management, or vehicle re-marketing experience strongly preferred
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write and interpret reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from department, company, groups of managers, clients, and customers
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
Ability to use computer to access e-mail and the internet
Basic skills in Windows and Microsoft Office
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
