Idaho Housing and Finance Association is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Multifamily Finance Officer to support the administration of its multifamily affordable housing programs. The role involves reviewing, underwriting, and making recommendations on applications for Low Income Housing Tax Credits, contributing to affordable housing development in Idaho communities.

Responsibilities

Process applications, complete eligibility and GAP analysis, track allocations for compliance with requirements
Complete allocation documents and assist in low-income tax credit program implementation
Assist with regulatory reporting to federal and state partners
Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing tax credit programs
Monitor projects throughout the development lifecycle, establishing a tracking and follow-up system
Foster and maintain relationships with developers
Other job duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using Word, Excel, financial software, and other industry specific tools

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field from an accredited college or university
1 – 3 years' experience in analyzing and underwriting LIHTC project applications
Experience in commercial real estate, finance, or banking
