Sales Manager
Discover Battery is a leading global lead and lithium energy storage solutions manufacturer, seeking a Sales Manager to drive profitable growth of their battery portfolio across the United States. This role focuses on business development, obtaining new clients, and strengthening key national and strategic accounts.

Responsibilities
Top Line Revenue Growth. Drive revenue and margin growth for Lead and Lithium batteries in the US market
Account Management. Build, listen and maintain strong relationships and grow business with existing national and strategic clients, while continually prospecting and selling to new potential clients in all target markets
Profitability. Achieve established profit targets through revenue growth, expense control, and margin management
Reporting. Complete accurate and on-time reporting of key performance metrics as established for sales and prospecting activity, through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas and participation and leadership of Discover’s CRM software
Communicate. Liaise with corporate leadership and team on best practices, customer wins, new opportunities, and competitive developments
Planning. Collaborate with the executive team to develop short- and long-term strategic plans, including the preparation of annual business plans. Create product segmentation strategies as needed to maximize opportunities across sales channels. Conduct sales forecasts and monthly status reports
Presentations. Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company products and services
Training. Conduct sales training and provide ongoing sales support as required
Qualification
Required
University or college degree in relevant field, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
7 - 10 years of proven B2B sales experience in batteries, energy storage, or electrical/industrial products
Knowledge of Lead-acid and Lithium battery technologies
Track record of new business development (“hunter” profile)
Experience selling to OEMs, national accounts, and distribution partners
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Must possess a valid driver's license and passport
