Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and supervise a 3-person Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) team
Oversee all contractor logistics activities at the Joint Consolidation Point (JCP)
Ensure shipments are prepared correctly, including:
Documentation and shipment packets
Material readiness and compliance
Marking, labeling, and shipping accuracy
Review and approve monthly contractor status reports
Coordinate daily and weekly meetings and conference calls with government and contractor teams
Support special projects and other logistics tasks assigned
Escort sensitive or mission-critical materials to final delivery locations when required
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one
Master's degree plus ten (10) years of relevant experience
Acceptable alternative: Bachelor's degree plus 4 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Master's degree
In lieu of an advanced degree, additional relevant work experience may be substituted
Demonstrated experience in one or more of these fields: Logistics or supply chain management, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Program or acquisition support
Preferred
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
Background in transportation and shipping operations
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience supporting DoD or international programs
