Responsibilities

Manage and support audit staff by assisting with audit planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
Supervise audits through second-level review of workpapers, documentation, and audit memos
Guide staff in identifying, developing, and documenting audit findings and recommendations
Oversee the communication of audit results through clear written reports and presentations to management
Coach, train, evaluate, and develop audit staff; address performance issues as needed
Build and maintain productive relationships with clients, leadership, and cross-functional partners
Represent Internal Audit on organizational project teams and in management meetings
Maintain professional and ethical standards in alignment with Internal Audit best practices
Pursue ongoing professional development and share knowledge with the team

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
3+ years of prior relevant experience including full time experience in auditing, accounting, business analysis, or program evaluation, including two (2) years of supervisory or project management experience
Strong working knowledge of internal auditing and accounting principles and practices
Solid understanding of the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the IIA Code of Ethics
Demonstrated ability to perform quality control and second-level reviews of audit work
Proven analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data, systems, and controls
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presenting findings and recommendations to leadership
