Responsibilities
Prepare, file, and track annual personal property tax returns for multiple counties and jurisdictions, including monitoring varying filing requirements and deadlines, processing payments after assessment, and maintaining supporting documentation
Apply for, track, and renew business licenses to ensure ongoing compliance
Monitor timely submission of end-of-period reports from branches and follow up as needed
Compile and publish end-of-period branch reports
Assist branches with daily transaction posting and ensure accuracy and completeness
Assist Accounts Receivable with processing credit card payments and check deposit
Perform additional general accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required
0–1 year of related accounting or administrative experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
