Academic Child Psychologist (NTT)

The University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking an Assistant Professional Practice Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. Responsibilities

Provide psychotherapeutic services to children
Collaborate with other clinical providers as part of an interdisciplinary team
Supervision and instruction to Psychiatry residents and Medical Students
Participation in other aspects of academic life, including research collaboration and serving on academic committees
Opportunities for consultation and collaboration with partners across MU Health Care

Qualification

Licensed in MissouriDoctoral degree in PsychologyEvidence-based clinical servicesDBTCBTMISupervision skillsResearch collaborationCollaboration skills

Required

Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Missouri
Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program
Completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship prior to the start date
Demonstrated commitment and competence in providing evidence-based clinical services for a wide variety of presenting mental health concerns in the outpatient clinical setting

Preferred

Specialized training and experience in DBT, CBT, and/or MI
