Region K Coalition Facilitator Healthcare Program Consultant, Level 1, 2, or 3
The Georgia Department of Public Health is seeking a Healthcare Program Consultant to serve as the Coalition Facilitator for Region K. The role involves providing outstanding customer service, developing relationships with healthcare partners, and participating in disaster response activities.

Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service
Serve as the Coalition Facilitator for Region K and as a backup to neighboring Healthcare Coalitions
Serve as the liaison between District Public Health Emergency Preparedness (local ESF8) and the Healthcare Coalition. Host/Attend meetings related to Health Coalition groups
Complete quarterly reporting and submit required Healthcare Coalition reports and Annual Coalition Progress Report as requested
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new healthcare partners/organizations
Participate in disaster response activities
Develop and maintain Healthcare Coalition plans with the Healthcare Coalition Executive Committee. Facilitate Regional Healthcare Coalition Strategic Plan
Assist and participate in local, regional, and state exercise planning and drills by engaging the healthcare community and other community partners. Collaborate with Medical Reserve Corp Director
Work closely and coordinates activities with the District Emergency Preparedness Coordinator and other members of the District Emergency Preparedness staff
Utilize various social media platforms to facilitate communications
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience performing work related to area of assignment OR Six years of experience performing work related to area of assignment
This position requires the ability to lift up to 45 lbs., and the ability to bend and reach up
Valid driver's license required
Consent to a motor vehicle record assessment. Points should be less than 10 and/or not negatively impact insurance rates for the agency
Drug screen, criminal background check and immunization records may be required
Highlight any experience related to the Preferred Qualifications
Preferred
Previous employment with any state's Department of Public Health or a County Board of Health
Knowledge and ability to hitch and tow a trailer
Emergency Preparedness experience
