Responsibilities
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or security-related concerns
Monitor access points and property activity, verify credentials when required, and/or assist with visitor and vendor check-in according to site procedures
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, documenting observations, and notifying site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed
Complete detailed reports and activity logs, communicate relevant information during shift transitions, and/or support investigations by preserving observations and available information
Qualification
Required
At least 1+ years of security experience is required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
