Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth legal and regulatory research on federal and state healthcare laws, administrative rules, and licensing board procedures
Draft legal documents, correspondence, memos, and summaries for attorney review
Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and applications
Organize and maintain case files and client records
Track deadlines, board responses, and document submissions
Support attorneys in managing case workflows and document-intensive matters
Monitor changes in relevant laws, regulations, and board policies
Qualification
Required
Exceptional legal research and writing skills
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Experience managing and calendaring an attorney's case deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis)
Professional, reliable, and eager to support a collaborative legal team
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program strongly preferred
3+ years of experience as a paralegal strongly preferred
Healthcare or administrative law experience preferred
