This role will lead the preparation of NEPA and MEPA documentation and permitting applications for a diverse set of clients, while also overseeing project management and team leadership in environmental planning.

Responsibilities
Oversee technical reviews associated with natural, human, and cultural resource analyses related to NEPA/MEPA
Coordinate with clients and manage environmental projects including technical subconsultants
Drive business development activities including preparing scopes of work, fee estimates, and schedules
Review environmental studies and work prepared by others
Prepare environmental documentation and presentations
Manage environmental scopes and budgets amongst a diverse range of technical resource groups
Oversee the facilitation of stakeholder meetings, public workshops, and public hearings
A passion for coaching and/or mentoring skills is required
Ability to travel occasionally
Qualification
Required
B.S./B.A. in environmental planning, urban planning, environmental science, or a related field. Masters a plus
Strong understanding of NEPA and MEPA as it relates to Transportation/DOT or similar projects
Minimum 8-11 years' experience in environmental consulting or related field required
