As a Security Officer - Logistics Yard Patrol Driver, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and reporting at a logistics and distribution location.

Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location
Control access at entry and exit points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing drivers, visitors, and contractors according to site instructions
Conduct regular and random patrols of the warehouse, yard, dock areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disturbances, and suspicious activity through the required notification channels
Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs using Allied Universal and/or client reporting tools, and communicate observations to site leadership as needed
Qualification
Required
Be 21+ years of age
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
X‐Ray screening experience is preferred
Customer Service Experience is preferred
