Responsibilities
Lead the planning, design, and management of high-quality municipal infrastructure projects
Focus on urban and rural roadways, water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer utilities, as well as site development
Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and community leaders to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
Prepare technical reports, specifications, and engineering plans
Participate in marketing efforts and identify new business opportunities
Mentor junior staff and maintain a high-performance, collaborative work environment
Represent the company professionally at various municipal meetings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification in North Dakota and Minnesota, or the ability to obtain it within six months
Minimum of five years of relevant land development or municipal engineering experience
Proven project management skills
Solid understanding of local municipal processes and infrastructure needs
Strong communication, presentation, and client-relations skills
Business development experience or a keen interest in client relationship management
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Knowledge of Fargo-Moorhead-area municipalities and regulatory agencies
