DevOps Engineering Intern – EduTrend
EduTrend is a remote-first edtech startup building a behavioral tracking and analytics platform for students with special needs. They are seeking a detail-oriented DevOps intern to ensure their platform is reliable, deployment-ready, and scalable.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Docker
Maintain consistent developer environments using Docker Compose
Assist with deployment workflows to AWS or Oracle Cloud
Improve system reliability, build speed, and deployment safety (failure prevention + rollback awareness)
Implement build/test automation and enforce pipeline quality gates
Create and maintain internal tooling to improve developer experience (scripts, automation, standard workflows)
Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to prevent production issues early
Write clear technical documentation for workflows, pipelines, and environment setup
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and Docker
Experience maintaining CI pipelines across multiple repos/services
Strong Git workflow habits (branches, PR reviews, clean commit history)
Excellent debugging and systems-thinking ability
Highly detail-oriented and careful with edge cases
Proactive in identifying issues before they escalate
Experience coordinating workflows across teams
Experience using project management tools like Linear, Jira, or similar
Interest in improving developer experience and internal tooling
Experience leading or organizing a technical team or project
Clear communication in a remote environment
