Practice Support Representative - Remote
Suna Solutions is a company focused on providing support to physician offices and DME providers. The Practice Support Representative role involves handling high-volume inbound calls and assisting with various inquiries related to medical records and order statuses.
Responsibilities
Handle a high volume of inbound phone calls (primary responsibility)
Provide limited web-based chat support
Assist physician offices and DME providers with:
Order status inquiries
Test completion confirmations
Medical record and documentation requests
Train DME customers on website tools, testing devices, and upload processes
Troubleshoot data upload issues for overnight pulse oximetry tests
Navigate and update multiple internal systems accurately
Process and validate test orders as needed
Resolve failed or problem faxes and investigate incorrect physician fax numbers
Work incomplete orders and physician updates
Support overflow scheduling calls
Assist with cross-training team members when needed
Complete all assigned items in shared department folders
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong customer service and call quality skills
Excellent phone manner and communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Internet Explorer, etc.)
Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
Strong production and performance capabilities
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Medical Assistant experience
DME company experience
Physician office or clinic administrative experience
Allied health students or individuals currently enrolled in healthcare programs
Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare workflows
