Oklahoma State University is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist I - Senior to manage student enrollment certification and degree clearance processes. Responsibilities
Certification of student enrollment and degree status
Coordination of degree clearance processes
Serving as a liaison with college degree certification specialists
Enforcing deadlines
Processing of manual graduation applications
Degree certifications and honors conferral
Diploma creation and distribution
Validation of credentials awarded
Coordinate documentation of policy and procedures relating to the National Student Clearinghouse data submissions
Ensure all error resolutions for enrollment reporting is resolved accurately within specified deadlines
Maintain collaborative work environment with various university departments
Be proactive in implementing process improvements throughout the Certifications Unit
Be a role model in the department for exceptional customer service and institutional knowledge
Actively endorse and support OSU’s mission and work toward fulfillment of vision and goals for OSU and Academic Affairs
Exemplify in performance and behaviors OSU’s values and excellence, integrity, service, intellectual freedom, diversity, and stewardship of resources
Take advantage of professional development and training opportunities to maximize productivity and effectiveness
Maintain safe, clean, and pleasant work area by eliminating clutter and complying with rules and procedures

Qualification
Required
High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
Admin Supp Spclt I: Highschool and 1 year of clerical/customer service experience
Admin Supp Spclt II : Highschool and 2 years of clerical/customer service experience
Admin Supp Spclt Sr : Highschool and 3 years of clerical/customer service experience
Post-secondary Education May Substitute For Years Of Required Experience
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses: Two years of clerical or customer service experience. Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Proficient in various computer software and operating systems including but not limited to Microsoft Office

Bachelor's
Two years of experience with degree certification
